From Daily Grind
To Calmer Mind

Are you tired of feeling exhausted and overwhelmed and want to make a change? 

Life can feel so busy, trying to juggle all of life's responsibilities, balancing our career with our home life, it can often leave us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and stuck. 

 

Then adding in the challenges of the last 19 months, this has certainly had an impact on so many people's mental wellbeing.

We all know the importance of taking care of ourselves, eating healthily, taking regular exercise, getting a good night sleep, taking time out for ourselves, but we can often find this hard to put into practice, especially when we are so busy juggling all of our roles and responsibilities, there is often no time left to take time for ourselves.

In support of this year's World Mental Health Day I will be running a FREE workshop to look at how we can break the cycle of stress and overwhelm and take steps to start to regain a sense of control and gain balance in our life, so we can have more time and energy to invest in the things most important to us and feel happier, calmer and more confident.

Hi, I'm Jo, a certified Life Management and Mindset Coach.  

I used to feel like I was living in a constant cycle of stress and overwhelm from trying to juggle all of life's responsibilities, balancing my career with my family, my home and even my health, that I was often left feeling exhausted. 

I used to think that once I got on top of my to-do-list, once I completed a particular project in work, once I had made sure everyone else was OK, I could then take some time for myself, but this time never seemed to happen. Or if I did take time for myself, I would feel guilty or think I had "wasted" it doing something unproductive.

I felt like the proverbial swan, on the surface I appeared calm, confident and in control, but underneath I felt like I was treading water. 

My mind would be constantly on the go thinking about what I needed to do next or overthinking everything, so much so, I found it hard to switch off.  My inner critic constantly telling me I wasn't good enough. 

I used to feel stuck, thinking this is just how life is and there is nothing I can do about it. However, everything changed when I started to look inwards and I discovered that, whilst there are some things in life that I can't control, I could change the way I thought and how I felt and way I responded to things.

I now feel so much happier, calmer and confident in myself and I now know how to prioritise my own wellbeing so I have more time and energy to do the things I love and be there for others.

The workshop will be jam packed with information, tips and practical steps to help you to start getting clearer on what you really want and how you can start taking steps to achieve it. 

This workshop is not about putting a positive spin on a situation, but to look at what is fuelling our feelings of stress and overwhelm and how we can make realistic changes to improve our mental wellbeing so we can feel calmer, more energised and happier.

During the workshop we will be looking at what is really important to you, how you want your life to be and how you want to feel. We will also be looking at what creates our feelings of stress and overwhelm, how our thoughts and beliefs influence how we feel, how we behave and how we can begin to tame our inner critic. We will also be looking at ways to raise and sustain our energy levels and feel better in ourselves. 
I know how busy you are trying to juggle it all and how precious your time is, but if we keep doing the same things, we will KEEP GETTING THE SAME RESULT.

We have to TAKE A STEP TO MAKE A CHANGE, but as Martin Luther King once said "you don't have to see the whole staircase, you just need to take the first step".

I want this workshop to show YOU how we can start taking steps to take better care of ourselves and how CHANGING the way you THINK, can CHANGE the way you FEEL and subsequently the way YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE. It all starts with YOU.
