So many people limit themselves on what they think they can do within their lives due to the beliefs they hold, because what we believe about ourselves and the world around us creates our reality.

For example, if we believe we can’t the chances are we won’t, if we believe we are not worthy of something, the chances are we will struggle to achieve it, and if we believe you will fail, the chances are we will see this play out in our life.

However, our beliefs are just that…beliefs! The majority of the beliefs we hold are untrue, they are just beliefs and opinions we have adopted starting from a very young age, yet they continue to impact on how we feel, how we behave and the choices we make every single day. Our belief system acts like a filter of how we view and interpret the world around us, only focusing on ‘evidence’ that supports our beliefs and filtering out anything that goes against the beliefs we hold, thus reinforcing our beliefs further.

The good news is, it doesn’t have to be like this!

So many people limit themselves on what they do and achieve within their lives due to their beliefs and fears holding them back, because what we believe about ourselves and the world around us creates our reality.

Our belief system acts like a filter of how we view and interpret the world around us, only focusing on ‘evidence’ that supports our beliefs and filtering out anything that goes against the beliefs we hold, thus reinforcing our beliefs further. This is why 2 people can experience the same event completely differently.

However, it doesn’t have to be like this. Just like we formed our beliefs in the first place through experience and repetition, we can form new empowering beliefs that are aligned with the reality we wish to create.

As a Mindset Coach and Educational Wellbeing Consultant, I partner with schools and colleges to help them get wellbeing working well and empower young people to develop their Mindset, confidence and self belief to achieve their full potential.

"Believe to Achieve" - Mindset and Wellbeing coaching and consultancy for schools and colleges

Just like we formed our beliefs in the first place through experience and repetition, we can change these limiting beliefs and form a new more empowering and accurate set of beliefs that are aligned with the reality we wish to create. Our brain has neuroplasticity properties, which means it is adaptable and, through consistency and repetition, we can form new neuropathways. The problem is, we usually practice the wrong things, the things we don’t want such as avoidance, distraction, and disassociation, which just means we just end up creating more of the same.

I am on a mission to empower as many people of all ages to gain a greater understanding of how our beliefs create our reality and to provide them with the tools and know-how of ways to develop our mindset to enable us to have greater confidence, self belief and self worth to step outside of our comfort zones, take on new opportunities, and develop our emotional resilience, so we can reach our full potential.

My 12 week programme, “Believe to Achieve”, is aimed at young people aged 15 - 18 years old to teach them tools and strategies to develop their mindset and self belief so they can build their confidence, self belief and self worth to achieve their full potential.

Some of the key objectives during the programme include:

  • exploring your life purpose

  • identifying your core values

  • gaining clarity on your future goals and aspirations and create a compelling vision

  • ways to increase and sustain your motivation levels
